Brenda and I are at peace with the final voting results. Placing 2nd in a very crowded field, against well oiled and funded campaigns, is a true victory for all those out there who worry about not having the "money" to run for office. Certainly, had we been financially able to compete with the mass campaign mailings of other candidates, maybe, just maybe, the end result would have been different...

Why I'm Running
I will go to Sacramento as your future elected Assemblyman and lead with courage, honor, integrity, faith, passion, leadership and dedication. As a war veteran who recently returned from a tour of duty in Iraq, I will gladly suit-up again, but this time to fight for all of us in Sacramento.
As a native Californian, I have witnessed firsthand the degradation of community and family values, the tyranny of high taxes and the toll it is taking on our businesses and economic stability and the callousness of Democrats leading this legislature that have shut off much of the water supply south of Sacramento for a non-native fish, leaving farmers without water for crops and the rest of us with increasing water bills. Enough is enough!
As a Deputy Sheriff with over 14-years of law enforcement service, I had an opportunity to work within a number of local communities. Meeting the good hearted people of our neighboring communities while on duty and hearing their concerns allowed me to get to know what this district needs. From patrol work in Loma Linda and Grand Terrance to undercover narcotics/gang assignments in Highland and Rancho Cucamonga I have helped to put away criminals and keep them there. I have no intention of standing by while the Democrats leading the legislature seek to undo law enforcement’s hard work by letting them all back out into our neighborhoods.
As a husband and father, I am forever reminded that we march towards something greater than ourselves. We all share a responsibility to God, our community and each other as individuals to work hard and make this world a little better than it was the way we found it. By holding one another accountable, there's no limit to what we can accomplish. As such, please rest assured that my service to you as an elected official will be of the highest caliber and without the compromise of our Republican convictions.
As Conservative Republicans, we have been pushed to the brink and our time for mere defense has past, it’s now time to gain ground and restore what we came here for and what we stayed here for. This is about “action and resolve.” So let us be resolved as Patriots here in California to stand together, united, for the defense of our founding values and economic reason.
