Inland Empire, CA – April 12, 2010. 63rd Assembly Candidate, LT Commander (s) Paul Chabot receives majority vote from California Republican Assembly (CRA) Delegation.

Over the weekend, the CRA delegation heard from five candidates seeking the CRA endorsement, including LT Commander (s) Paul Chabot, Business Owner Mike Morrell, Mayor Pro-Tem Aquanetta Warren, Mayor Pat Gilbreath and Mayor Donald Kurth.

Chabot received the majority vote in all voting blocks. In the third vote, Chabot received 9 delegate votes, Mike Morrell received 5 and Donald Kurth received 1.

“I am honored to have the support of the CRA delegates in my region. As a conservative, the CRA represents the very essence of our party and I thank my volunteers and staff for their hard-work in helping to spread our message throughout the district. The honor and distinction of receiving this recognition is testament to their dedication, but also to the resolve of our CRA base. We have a lot yet to do to cross that victory line. Thank you CRA delegates for your trust and faith, ” said Chabot.

Chartered in 1934, the CRA is the state’s oldest and largest Republican volunteer organization. CRA has been working to elect Republican candidates who stand unwaveringly for Republican principles.
