San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters have released the official ballot order and candidate designators. The order candidates appear on a ballot is done through a random drawing process. Candidates may choose a ballot title (job/occupation) up to a maximum three words in length.

LT Commander Chabot (s), a former active duty special operations intelligence officer, is a leading candidate for the 63rd assembly seat currently held by Assemblyman Bill Emmerson who will step down due to term limits. Chabot resides in Rancho Cucamonga with his wife Brenda, and their three children.

* Received Presidential Commission into the United State Navy, as an Officer, rank of Ensign, April 17th, 2001 – in Washington D.C.
* Ensign Chabot assigned to the Office of Naval Intelligence (Maryland) for 1-year of military intelligence training.

* Ensign Chabot attends Naval Officer DCO School at Pensacola Naval Base, Florida.
