Rancho Cucamonga - August 2nd - Counter-terrorism military officer, reserve deputy sheriff and small business owner, Paul Chabot, announces the endorsement of the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB). Chabot's opponent, Congressman Pete Aguilar has an "F" rating according to the NFIB.
The NFIB has released the following statement, "We are pleased to announce our support of Paul Chabot for Congress. Paul understands that small businesses are the engine of our economy and that government so often strangles our job creators. Paul is a small businessman. He knows what it takes to help create jobs because he's done it himself. We urgesmall business owners and all who depend on them in California's 31st district to vote for Paul Chabot."
NFIB has more than 21,000 dues-paying members in California- representing a cross-section of the state's economy. The endorsement comes from NFIB's SAFE (Save America's Free Enterprise) Trust, the organization's political action committee and is based on positions regarding key small-business issues including health care, taxes, labor and regulatory issues.
Small business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for actively recruiting friends, family members and acquaintances to go to the voting polls. The NFIB will encourage its members to help turn out the small-business owners and employees to vote for Paul Chabot in November.
