Paul Chabot for Congress has Strong Support from Black Church Leaders

April 11, 2016 - Today, Counter-Terrorism Military Officer, Reserve Deputy Sheriff for San Bernardino County, and leading candidate, Paul Chabot, announced the support from Bishop Ron Allen - President of the International Faith Based Coalition and leader in the black community. This endorsement follows other key endorsements from Iglesias en Acción Founder Bishop Juan Carlos Mendez, and Focus on the Family Founder, Dr. James Dobson.

"We desperately need principled leaders in Congress who are going to put the needs of those they represent first - leaders like Paul Chabot," said Bishop Allen.

"For too long our leaders have forgotten who they work for and year after year prove they are interested in nothing more than their next election. Paul's time as a Reserve Deputy Sheriff for San Bernardino County, and his time deployed to Iraq are proof that he knows what it takes to keep our communities safe - from criminals and terrorists - and free from drugs. Paul also understands that we can't merely handcuff our way out of the crime problem, and that the only way to truly stop crime is before it starts - with a quality education for every child in our community. For these reasons I am wholeheartedly supporting Paul Chabot for Congress."

"Bishop Allen's endorsement shows the type of continue broad-based support needed to win in this race," said Chabot. "Communities all across California are suffering with historically high crime rates and the flight of quality jobs. In Congress my top priority will be to reduce crime, because our children deserve to focus on their future, not their safety. I will also stop at nothing to create quality jobs throughout the region to ensure all communities benefit."
