Survey to Reduce Property Texas

If elected to the Texas State House, I would like to propose the following property tax reduction law. Homeowners can elect to take an average of their previous 5-years of property taxes, and lock in that rate/cost for life. Do you support this idea? What other suggestions do you have for this proposal?

One of the primary concerns I hear from voters is the high cost of property taxes. In the past few years, we have seen high appraisals, which, increase the burden on property owners. This creates a financial strain and long-term uncertainty for the homeowner. To provide stability for the homeowner, I am proposing this plan, if elected.
